I. Outpatient Education


Our outpatient education programs for alcohol and drug awareness include:

A. TARGET
This is an alcohol awareness program that commonly addresses first-time offenders whose Blood Alcohol Concentration (BAC) levels are low and concerns about habitual use are minimal.

B. MASA
The Mind-Altering Substance Awareness (MASA) Education Program is a marijuana and other drug awareness program that is considered to be an early intervention program designed to increase understanding and awareness of problems created by non-habitual use.

C. HALT

The How Alcohol Leads to Trouble (HALT) Education Program is a 10-week intensive alcohol and other drug education program that combines education, self-assessment, and skill building in an interactive environment. The goal is to provide an in-depth understanding of alcohol and other drug usage, and how it impacts numerous aspects of a person’s life. The program helps intervene with use by thoroughly covering the negative aspects that use creates, and suggests interaction with interventions that are commonly used.

D. Minor in Possession

Minor in Possession (MIP) is an educational program developed specifically to provide information and possible referral services to participants. The MIP program confronts delinquent behaviors early, which can result in establishment of alternative healthy behaviors and decision-making skills.

E. Theft Intervention Program

The Theft Intervention Program (TIP) is a 6-hour one-day session designed for first time offenders. This program is delivered in a non-judgmental manner in which participants examine and question the disparity between personal values and their behaviors. This program is designed as an interactive program focusing on eliminating the self-defeating behaviors that are associated with theft, shoplifting, writing bad checks, and/or receiving stolen property, etc. Participants will examine and question self-defeating behaviors and attitudes that have led to their arrest.


II. Assessments


A. Michigan Secretary of State Driver’s License Substance Abuse Evaluations

Has your driver's license been revoked due to operating a vehicle under the influence or other similar convictions? If so, the Driver’s License Appeal Division (DLAD) of the Michigan Secretary of State requires that you have a substance abuse evaluation conducted by a qualified evaluator. Complete Counseling Center Inc. has the competency and experience to provide you with your DLAD Substance Abuse Evaluation. We have been providing this service for over 26 years.

B. Court Ordered Substance Abuse Assessment

This assessment is designed to examine the extent of a person’s alcohol or other drug use and to evaluate the possible impact of use. Upon completion of the assessment, a written comprehensive evaluation with diagnosis and recommendations along with referrals, if necessary, will be provided.


III. Outpatient Treatment


Our outpatient treatment for substance abuse and related issues include: provide insight and meaningful intervention to break the cycle of abuse.

A. Outpatient Group Treatment

This program focuses on all aspects of use and integrates a person into the Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) 12-Step Recovery Program. The program consists of an Intake appointment, 12 group sessions, and a Final session. This program is designed for habitual users where treatment is considered necessary for intervention.

B. Outpatient Individual Treatment

These are individual 1-on-1 sessions with a therapist who specializes in the treatment of the specific problems of the individual.

C. Domestic Violence

This is a 14-week program that uses evidence-based practices to encourage engagement, support motivation to change, and provide relapse prevention. The Domestic Violence (DV) Program is held in group format with individual sessions as needed. This program is designed to intervene in the development of abusive relationships and to provide insight and meaningful intervention to break the cycle of abuse.

D. Urine Drug Testing

Complete Counseling Center Inc. provides secure on-site drug testing collection. Lab results are verified by a licensed toxicologist. Complete Counseling Center Inc. provides one-time testing or scheduled random testing.
