I am deeply passionate about helping individuals and families unlock their full potential and create lasting, meaningful change. With a Bachelor of Science degree from Madonna University and membership in the Psi Chi International Honor Society of Psychology, I bring both academic excellence and real-world understanding to my work.

As a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC International), credentialed through the Michigan Certification Board for Addiction Professionals, and a recognized Substance Abuse Professional (SAP), I specialize in guiding children, teens, and families through the challenges of addiction, traumas, and relationship dysfunction.

My counseling approach is rooted in compassion, empathy, and respect for every person’s unique journey. I believe that true recovery happens when addiction treatment and mental health care work go hand in hand. Together, we focus on healing the underlying causes of pain, strengthening relationships, and building a foundation for resilience and growth.

Ken Formosa, LMSW

Licensed Master Social Worker | Group Therapy Facilitator

Ken Formosa is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) with a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Michigan. With over 15 years of practical experience, Ken brings deep expertise and a genuine ability to connect with people in a way that fosters healing and growth.


He facilitates a variety of group therapy programs, including Men’s Outpatient, Domestic Violence, and

Alcohol and Drug Educational Groups. Ken’s approach combines empathy, structure, and evidence-based techniques to help clients build resilience, develop healthier relationships, and sustain recovery.

Ken is committed to creating a safe, supportive space where individuals can explore challenges, strengthen self-awareness, and move toward lasting positive change.
